The Client
A remote professional who wanted a home that supports how he truly lives — productive weekdays, movie-night weekends, and space for guests to stay comfortably
The Challenge
This beautiful new apartment was a blank slate — bright and spacious, but lacking warmth and boundaries between work and relaxation.
What wasn’t working:
• No defined zones for focus vs. leisure
• Hard surfaces causing echo during calls
• Basic builder lighting, zero personality
• Needed more seating for friends and overnight hosting
The Solution
A multifunctional living environment that blends comfort, versatility, and calm.
Key Design Strategies
✨ U-shaped sleeper sofa — relax, gather, or welcome overnight guests
✨ Rental-friendly upgrades adding warmth without construction
✨ Custom acoustic wall — improved call quality + display for meaningful mementos
✨ Layered lighting + soft textures for a cozy yet polished atmosphere
✨ Refined circulation flow from entry → living → terrace
From empty and echoing to calming and connected.
Space Planning
Designed with intention.
• Clear zoning for productivity and relaxation
• Walkways opened and visual clutter minimized
• Social seating for 4–6 people
• Desk zone with ideal natural lighting
Styling & Materials
Soft neutrals, tactile fabrics, warm wood tones, and sculptural décor create a sanctuary feel — perfect for grounding a busy lifestyle.
The Result
A rental that finally feels like home — inviting, practical, and deeply personal.
A living room designed to support well-being, connection, and everyday comfort.
Client Feedback ❤️
“I never realized how much calmer and more functional my space could feel until now. Hosting is finally easy. I’m excited to come home every day.”
