Designed from the perspective of a Caribbean expat now living in Switzerland, this project brings a sense of home and warmth into a rental space. Soft island-inspired textures, modern European lines, and thoughtful functionality create a living room perfect for remote work, hosting, and everyday comfort. A sanctuary for real life — wherever life takes you.

This living room draws subtle inspiration from the serenity of coastal landscapes — where warm sands meet soft ocean tides. The neutral palette creates calm and balance, while gentle blush undertones in the rug are reminiscent of sun-kissed shorelines.

Rounded silhouettes throughout the furniture reflect organic forms found in nature — smooth stones, soft dunes, and waves shaped by the sea. Natural textures such as woven fibers, wood accents, and tactile fabrics infuse warmth and dimension, bringing a sense of grounded comfort into a modern interior.
