About the Studio
Rosendahl Design Studio is a one-person interior design studio built on thoughtful guidance, personal attention, and a calm, considered approach to design.
The studio was created for people who want their homes to feel supportive, intentional, and easy to live in — not overwhelming, overdesigned, or disconnected from real life.
As an expat living in Switzerland, I’ve experienced firsthand how deeply our surroundings influence how we feel, function, and settle into life. Moving between countries made me aware of how important it is for a home to provide grounding, comfort, and a sense of belonging. Home isn’t just a place — it’s something we actively create through the spaces we live in every day.
That belief sits at the core of my work. I design spaces that go beyond aesthetics, focusing on how a home supports daily routines, energy, and wellbeing. A space can look beautiful and still create friction; thoughtful design removes that friction and replaces it with clarity and ease.
I founded Rosendahl Design Studio to make thoughtful, high-quality interior design more accessible, without losing the care, depth, and intention of working one-on-one. This is not a large studio or a production line. Every project is handled directly by me — from first conversation to final recommendations.
There are no hand-offs, no layers, and no generic solutions. Just clear guidance, honest recommendations, and design decisions shaped around how you actually live.
How I Work
Working with Rosendahl Design Studio is a personal and collaborative experience.
As a one-person studio, I take on a limited number of projects at a time to ensure each client receives focused attention and thoughtful consideration. The process is calm, structured, and flexible — designed to reduce overwhelm rather than add to it.
Design decisions are guided by real life first: how you move through your space, what feels effortless, and what currently creates friction. The goal is always the same — to create environments that feel supportive, functional, and lived-in, not staged or impractical.
All services are offered through a fully virtual process, allowing for collaboration regardless of location. From early design direction to detailed visuals, the focus remains on clarity, transparency, and making the process feel manageable and grounded.
Design Approach & Background
I trained at the Savannah College of Art & Design, where I developed a strong foundation in spatial planning, materiality, and visual storytelling.
My work blends Scandinavian calm with warmth and lived-in texture, balancing technical precision with empathy. Design decisions are shaped not just by how a space looks, but by how it feels to use, return to, and live in over time.
In addition to private clients, Rosendahl Design Studio collaborates with forward-thinking brands and companies within the furniture, outdoor living, and architectural space — offering design direction and visual storytelling grounded in real-world use.
